All items of clothing, including footwear must be clearly marked with the child’s name. Lace-ups are not recommended for Reception children or until children can tie their own laces.
Pierced ears should have studs but earrings should not be worn on PE days (members of staff are not permitted to take out earrings). We ask that parents take this into consideration if they choose to have their children's ears pierced. If a child's ears have been recently pierced and they cannot remove their earrings for PE, it is the parents' responsibility to make sure they are safely covered with tape or that clear retainers have been used in place of earings. Staff in school are not permitted to cover children's earrings. As soon as piercings have healed, parents must make sure that earrings are removed for PE days.
Outdoor Learning/Forest School
The children in all year groups will take part in ‘outdoor learning’ sessions. You will be informed when your child’s class is having their turn. For these sessions your child will need to come to school wearing the following clothing:
