Prospective Parent Information

Welcome to Lyne and Longcross Primary School, a Voluntary Aided Church School dedicated to providing a nurturing and inclusive environment for all children.

Who We Are

At Lyne and Longcross, we are inspired by the inclusive and loving example of Jesus Christ. Our vision is to create a place of possibilities where children develop a lasting love of learning, recognising and nurturing their individual talents and strengths.

What Our School is About

Through our Christian values of Faith, Courage, and Respect, we celebrate uniqueness, nurture curiosity, and enable each child to flourish on their learning journey while contributing to the wider community.

Weekly Forest School Sessions

We offer weekly Forest School sessions to promote independence and build confidence in our students. These sessions provide hands-on experiences in nature, fostering a love for the outdoors.

Dedicated Outdoor Learning Space

Our Reception children have access to a dedicated outdoor learning space with a wide range of learning opportunities. This space encourages physical development and exploration, with easy access to equipment for hands-on learning.

Little Wandle Phonics Scheme

We implement the Little Wandle Phonics scheme throughout the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) to help build and develop vital early reading skills in our students.

Every Child Matters

At Lyne and Longcross, we care deeply about every child and are committed to supporting them to succeed and reach their full potential.

Parental Engagement

We actively encourage parents to be part of our school community, viewing families as an integral part of our larger school family.
