Class Teacher Position

 

 

We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative  class teacher, initially based in KS2, to join our happy and supportive team. This role would suit an NQT or a more experienced teacher.

Lyne and Longcross CofE (Aided) Primary School with Nursery and Forest School is a Good (OFSTED - June 2018) school  based near Chertsey. Since 2015 we have been expanding from an infant school to a primary school and this is the first year that we have had a complete primary school from Reception to Year 6. We are looking for someone who wants to help us on our journey to consolidate  the great practice we have implemented as a growing school.

Our school is newly built and has excellent facilities and resources.

We are fortunate to have stunning grounds and we have a commitment to outdoor learning and regular Forest School sessions for all year groups.

 This position would be suitable for either an experienced teacher or an NQT. We have a comprehensive support package for NQTs.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status
  • A Good Honours Degree.

Nursery - Early Years

 

We are currently recruiting for an Early Years Practitioner, to join our team at

Lyne and Longcross Nursery in a part time, term only, position. 

The position is to start from this September 2019

 

We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative Early Years Practitioner to work as part of our team in our open plan Nursery.

The Nursery caters for children between 2 and 4 years in an open plan nursery with purpose built outdoor area and our Forest School.

 

To be considered for this position, you will need to:

          - hold a relevant qualification such as NVQ level 3 in Early Years childcare, or equivalent;

          - have experience of working within a nursery setting;

          - have a positive, hard working and "can do" attitude;

          - have sound experience of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS); and are able to contribute to planning, observations and reports;

          - possess a high level of written and spoken English.

 

You will need to:

         - provide the children with a safe, secure and home-like environment;

         - operate a key-person system and liaise with parents/carers and senior staff;

         - contribute to planning, observations and reports;

         - work as part of a highly motivated and professional team.

         - In addition, you will need to be flexible and creative, with the commitment to provide first class childcare.

 

Hours of work will be 12 hours a week - Mondays and Fridays, 8.30am - 3.00pm - Plus attendance to weekly planning meeting (if possible); 2 hours every Thursday afternoon from 3pm - 5pm. Term time only.
