Homework

This will be sent out on a Friday and due back in on a Wednesday to allow time for this to be looked at. They will have a printed book alongside a relevant activity, which we would like to also be read at home as well as a phonetically decodable book that your child can read to you. Spellings will be set relating to their phonics learning that week and a maths task will also be set either via Mathletics or a sheet in their book.  

A few useful notes:

Hedgehogs will have Forest school on a Thursday afternoon. They will be in two groups which will alternate each week. Groups and dates will be communicated to parents. 

PE is on Monday and Thursdays each week. Please could you make sure that your child comes into school on these days wearing their PE kit. They will then come home again in their PE kit, so uniform needs to be kept at home. For the forest school Thursdays, children should come to school in their forest school kit instead of their PE Kit.

All PE kit MUST be clearly named.
