PE

Our PE days are Monday and Wednesdays. Please ensure children have warm PE clothes as we will be outside even when it is cold.

During the spring and summer terms, the children will take part in Forest School, dates tbc.

Children should wear their full school PE kit into school on our PE days.  If the weather is totally unsuitable for outside PE we will have a fun, curriculum-related indoor lesson instead.

Forest School

Children will be grouped and spend half the day learning in our beautiful outdoor setting. 

Please ensure children have warm Forest School clothing. This must include long sleeved tops and bottoms to protect themselves whilst in Forest School. They will need to have full waterproof clothing and wellington boots/waterproof boots in the event of wet weather. 

Home learning

This will be sent home on a Friday to be returned on a Wednesday. 

Home learning will consist of a book-based piece of work, focusing on activities to build grammar and comprehension. There will also be a maths or English piece of work on alternate weeks as well as weekly spelling practice.  Online games (Mathletics, Spelling Shed, Times Tables Rockstars) will be chosen for online work to support the current learning at school.  

Spellings will be placed in planners on a Monday to learn for a spelling test the following Monday.
