Friday 27th March
Friday 27th March...
Wake up shake up - I found a treasure (https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=IbARUaX4frc)
Bible story - The Miracles of Jesus (see attached power point).
Maths - Sing the rhyme ‘5 little spacemen’ (see attached). You could also make the puppets to use while you and your child sing the rhyme (see attached).
Phonics - Find a teddy/puppet (or similar) and sound talk a word (e.g. c - a - t) and see if your child can blend the word together (e.g. cat). Do this with a few words and then let your child have a go at doing the sound talking while you blend the words.
Reading - Read a book in a place that you wouldn’t normally read, for example, under a table, in a large cardboard box.
Game time - Create a number treasure hunt for your child. Write numbers up to 20 (on post it notes or something similar). Hide them around the house and get your child to find them in the correct order. How quickly can they do it? Can they do it a second time but even quicker?
Art/Cooking - Help your child set up a ‘making station’ if they don’t have one already, for example, with glue, scissors, paper, pom poms, glitter, sequins, tissue paper, paint, coloured pens/pencils. What will your child choose to make? What resources will they use?
Writing - There are people in care homes feeling very lonely at the moment. Why don’t you make and write them a lovely card/letter/story/poem/picture and email it to firstname.lastname@example.org or send it in the post to:
