Parents are automatic members of the Parent, Teacher and Friends Association.  The PTFA or Le Social as it is known, is a social and fund-raising organisation and makes a valuable contribution to the life of the school.  We have a very active and supportive group of parents at Lyne & Longcross who give their time to help provide wonderful resources for the school.  As well as our fund raising events, we also support certain charities each year, including Farm Africa, Jeans for Genes and Comic Relief. 

Earlier in 2010 we obtained charity status (Reg no ).

We are currently fundraising to fund a new website, and an extension to the playground.
